Expertise

One of my colleagues at SACSCOC often told institutional representatives that there was ‘a strategy to this “game.”‘ Almost every institution has the information necessary to present a persuasive argument for compliance with the standards of an accrediting agency. The “strategy” lies in knowing which “questions” the standards are asking…and how to present the institution’s answers to those “questions” in a way that will convince peer reviewers that the institution is compliant with the standards.

Accreditation Expertise

  • Helping your institution identify the “questions” being asked by the language of the standards
  • Reading and editing draft narratives to hone your institution’s argument
  • Identifying the “questions” that remain unaddressed by the narrative or that need more attention.
  • Evaluating the strength of your supporting evidence
  • Offering suggestions for strengthening your argument for compliance
  • Working with your institution in the areas of planning, institutional effectiveness, program assessment, and faculty qualifications
  • Working with your institution on the Quality Enhancement Plan

Excellence

Every institution of higher education I have ever worked with has a strong commitment to excellence.

Your institution is no different.

Perhaps you already know that you could benefit from adding an expert and experienced resource to ensure that you communicate your story in a way that demonstrates that excellence to your peers. Or, you have determined that a voice from outside your institution might help you move forward past perceived barriers.

I would be happy to work with your team toward your goal of excellence.
